Who runs it
Nashville's Best Pros is run by Nashville's Web Design, Michael Blair’s company, which builds websites and does SEO for home service businesses in Middle Tennessee. Michael edits the directory. A message sent from our Contact page goes to him, and the emails that come with an account are sent from his Nashville's Web Design address.
What’s in it
Only businesses that work on houses are listed, so you won’t find accountants or lawyers here. The directory is sorted into 51 trades and 12 markets: Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Smyrna, Spring Hill, Gallatin, Lebanon, Columbia and Clarksville.
The rules it keeps
- Each business keeps its own profile. It picks its trade and the markets it really covers, writes its description, and uploads its own photos.
- A new account has to confirm its email address before its profile can go live, which keeps throwaway signups out.
- No reviews or star ratings appear here yet, and none will be made up to fill the space.
- Nobody pays anything: browsing, messaging a business and listing one are all free.
- An inquiry sent through a profile goes to that business alone.
