Privacy policy
What this site keeps when you browse it, send an inquiry, write to us or list a business, and who else sees it.
This is the privacy policy of Nashville's Best Pros (nashvillesbestpros.com), which Nashville's Web Design runs.
When you contact a business
The inquiry form on a profile asks for your name, email, phone and message. We save them in our database with the business you wrote to and its market, then email them to that business, with your address as the one it replies to. Nobody else gets them. We also note each email we send, who it went to and whether it was delivered.
When you write to us
The Contact page asks for your name, email, a subject and your message. They’re saved with the country your connection comes from and emailed to Michael Blair at Nashville's Web Design.
Both forms pass through Cloudflare Turnstile, which reads signals from your browser to tell a person from a spam program, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
When you list a business
An account needs an email address and a password. We keep the password only as a salted, hashed
value, never as you typed it, and we email you to confirm the address and whenever you ask to reset the
password. Signing in sets one cookie, nbp_session, which keeps you signed in for 30 days
or until you sign out.
What you put in your profile (the business name, trade, description, services, markets, phone, email, website, address, photos, questions and answers, and social links) is public once you publish it. The photos are stored on Cloudflare. To take a listing down or close an account, write to us from the Contact page.
Your saved list
The pros you save are kept in your own browser’s storage. That list never reaches us, and clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
What our log records
The site logs each page view on Cloudflare before anything runs in your browser: the page, the site, search or ad that sent you, your kind of device and your browser, and the town, state, country and internet provider of your connection as Cloudflare estimates them. It keeps no IP address and nothing with your name on it, and it also notes how long a page stays open. Visitors from outside the United States are turned away, going by the country Cloudflare reports.
Google Analytics
We also run Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_4PR4E10JZ2)
and sends Google the pages you view and how you arrived, under
Google’s privacy policy.
Google’s opt-out add-on,
or blocking cookies for this site, switches it off.
Everything else
Cloudflare hosts the site, its database and the photos, and sees your IP address when it sends you a page, like any host. Our email goes out through Google Workspace. The typefaces are served from this site.
